Les Thugs (19 #20) : Radical Hystery is playing rock'n'roll, a way of answering to aggressions. For us, the main thing is not playing music, using an instrument but making a band, a rock band. Rock'n'roll is the soundtrack of life. For this reason we listen to rock music since 77 and even before with Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin ...

@Never Get Older

Sun's just rising and we're driving back home Dreams that is ending seems so far away 'Cos light's so cruel that we couldn't forget The country wakes up and life is still the same The streets are full of tired-eyed workers And we never wanna get older Noisy music that is racing in our ears Shouts the words that we cannot say A good kick of rock and bad kick of roll Punk emotion and so much more The streets are full of tired-eyed workers And we never wanna get older They're telling us that we will surely change We don't listen and we just don't care As long as the beat will keep rocking on Our childist kicks they will never die The streets are full of tired-eyed workers And we never wanna get older Les Thugs (19 #20) : In 68, many stupid things were said but there were good slogans too. These ideas went through different periods, they aren't specifically related to the 60s. The lyrics of the song were written after a Nomads' concert. When you go back home after having had a party with friends, and you meet people who go to work, it makes you feel a little angry. "Never Get Older" is the will not to do the same, it's not a matter of age.

@Le Schpountz

Since he's just a baby The schpountz was sad and lonely In the town he lived in People said "he is crazy" The schpountz was sad and lonely No girls, no friends People were living round him Having fun, making love When he asked to Lola You wanna be my sun ? She looked him up and down And just started to laugh In the train to Paris The schpountz was sad and lonely But he stopped his crying Thinking about his revenge Now the game is over The schpountz is a star forever His photo on the front page And girls and cars and money Talking to reporters Asking 'bout the schpountz Lola say "I knew him He was a good friend of mine" Les Thugs (19 #20) : It's a reference to Marcel Pagnol's movie with Fernandel. Le Schpountz is a bit like the fool of the village, everyone laughs at him. And he goes to the capital to be a star, he succeeds and when he comes back, the village cheers him. If you have success, you'll have fans, even those who spit on you the day before. They would have the feeling to miss something.

@Road Closed

@I'm So Bad

@Mad Train

Hey! Have you heard 'bout the mad train It's a thing you better know Cause that's the way I'm dancing And I run like a mad train run like a mad train run World is beside you If you don't like if you have to leave I feel as strong as a hurricane You better get off my rails ... And run ... Hey! Have you heard 'bout the mad train And you blow like hurricane And you fall like a lost plane And I run like a mad train

@Where is the party ?

Where is the party ? ... (?) Who's invited in the city And the music we are always loving Always falling where I'm not invited No, I'm not invited in your party Where is the party ? when you got to know it Always falling in a part of the city And which is this part we got to know it Waiting and waiting 'cos I'm not invited No, I'm not invited in your party Where is the party ? ... (?) Who's invited in the city And the music we are always loving Always falling where I'm not invited Someone ... (?) ... (?) ... (?) ... (?) Where is the party ? when you got to know it (x3) Where is the party ? (x4) Les Thugs (19 #20) : It's not the same meaning as evening party, reception, it's not our kind of living. It's more the place where something happens. If you follow the path that is laid out for you, you will live boredom, monotony. Then, when you see places where people clearly have fun, you want to be there. It means simple things, making a tour for example and see people like you coming, playing in Perigueux and talking with the audience after the concerts ...

@Lost Fight

How could we ignore The world we're livin'in When we feel the hate And danger round the corner And to survive Here is what we need Radical Hystery (x4) This is a machine and I ... (?) Cos they're casual And this one's approves it And to survive Here is what we need Radical Hystery (x4) ... (?) ... (?) ... (?) ... (?) And to survive Here is what we need Radical Hystery (x4) Les Thugs (19 #20) : Our lyrics are political without being it. They have a meaning, they are thoughts about daily life, the way we are living, the denial of certain things, But behind this there is no program or project. "Lost Fight" sums up all this a bit, the reasons why Les Thugs are existing.

@Without Annie

Instrumental version of Annie (song of the second demo-tape)

@Sunday Time (CD only)

The streets are empty And all is very quiet Grey is the color The colour of my town The bells are ringing Cos' God he calls the rats Oh! don't you see them run? Workers, at home, take a rest To be ready for a new week Nothing to do And nothing to expect Grey is the colour The colour of my life So many dreams Are waiting in my head When will the nightmare end Back to the album section / Back to the discography
